Robert P. Bernritter
Cooperative Education/Student Apprenticeship Coordinator
After
surviving the usual childhood experiences ...... lawn mower, paper person,
caddy, busperson, waiter ..... and education through twelfth grade, I've
continued to be a life long learner.
While
working in industry, I completed my Masters in Business Administration
at
the
State University of New York at Albany. My undergraduate work was
done
at
the University of Buffalo where I received a B.S. in Business Administration
in
1965.
The blend of work experience and college preparation provided me with
an
excellent base when I transitioned to a career in education.
The
CO-OP Coordinator position, as it's traditionally called, has many exciting
dimensions
to the job. I have the opportunity to work with virtually all segments
of
the school community. Students, staff, administration, parents, and
community
members at all levels figure into daily activities of the job.
Guidelines
for Cooperative Education from the State of Vermont Department of Education
provide several different Career Work Options for technical students.

Hoping
to hear from you .....
Vermont
is a great place to raise a family. While the children are largely
on their own now, their roots are here and I only hope that some day they
will know Vermont again...
Here's
a big 'HI' from some of the gang....
