Primate Info Net (PIN) Administered by the University of Wisconsin, this is the best starting place for primatology on the world wide web. Check out all of the pages and use their search service for specific primatology topics.

The Piltdown Hoax Homepage This is a very thorough and interesting site. A lot of impressive work went into this. It is highly recommended! For a good short article that includes a diagram of the reconstructed Piltdown skull click here.

Prehistoric Cave Art This very well done site will bring you through the amazing caves found at Chauvet in France that contain some of the oldest and most magnificent cave art from the paleolithic period.

The Lucy Test Take the Lucy Test. This clever interactive site shows various features of Australopithecus afarensis (the species of the popularly known fossil "Lucy") and asks the viewer to compare them to comparable features from two modern hominoids. There are some interesting comments that accompany this site if you are interested in the debate between creationists and evolutionists.

Vermont Archaeological Society The VAS sponsors the Northeast Open Atlatl Contest as part of Vermont Archaeology Week. This site has links to information about current and past archaeology in Vermont and information about joining the VAS.
