Bibliographic Format

1.     At the top of your bibliography page, put ÒBibliographyÓ underlined either in the middle of the page or on the left top corner

2.     All sources in your bibliography should be alphabetical by whatever comes first in the citation.  DO NOT classify your sources by where they came from.  Just put them all in alphabetical order.

3.     Single space this page and all entries

4.     Leave a blank line between each entry

5.     The first line of each entry should be at the normal margin, but the subsequent lines of each entry should be indented.  For example:

Folaros, Peter. Successful Principals: A Handbook for All School Leaders in the 21st Century. Rutland, Vermont: Rutland City School District Publishers,

2007.

1st lines are always at the normal margin

                        Indented second lineÉ

6.     When you turn in your paper, your bibliography needs the proper page number in the bottom middle of the page.

7.     Do not underline punctuation, unless the punctuation is part of a title of a book.

8.     Watch the format, so you do not miss any information or punctuate incorrectly!
