West Rutland has a few neighboring counties such as Castleton, proctor, ira, and rutland town. Castleton is West Rutlands largest nieghbor. Castleton is just about the same size of West Rutland, but with a little more population due to Castleton State College. They both have rual farming and small local businesses. West Rutland and Castleton were both part of the New Hampshire Grants and were both found in 1761. Castleton had a battle in its own town in the year of 1770's of the American Revolutionary War.

  2. Air Pollution
  3. Lack of housing devolopment
  4. Too namy people moving into the rual area's before it expands
