Attractions: The town of Shoreham has a few attractions. Theres the Shoreham elementary school which goes from kindergarten to sixth grade. After the kids have graduated from the school they go to the Middlebury school systems. The town also has the Platts Memorial Library. It was built by Dr. Mary Platts as a memorial for her husband in 1906. The town is planning to expand the libary to keep it going another 100 years. The Newton Academy used to be the equivalent of the high school but became too small. It is now the preschool and the Shoreham clinic. There is talk of fixing the academy up and expanding its use. There is also the Shoreham Inn which is very nice place to stay when visiting Shoreham.

Location: Shoreham is on the coast of Lake Champlain. It's bordered by Bridport, Cornwall, Whiting, and Orwell. It has 26,319 acres and its 500 ft above the level of the lake. Shoreham is mainly a town of orchards, dairy, and niche farms.

Relationships between towns: The town of Middlebury has a good relationship with the town of Shoreham. After the kids graduate from the elementary school in Shoreham they head to the Middlebury school system. Ticonderoga and Shoreham also have a good relationship because the ferry that runs between Vermont and New York goes between both towns every day during the summer.
